I’m usually in Silent Mode on Sundays. But everybody needs the escape of movies these days of Covid-19 and Trump-2020 infections.

And I mean streaming movies. Why would you possibly go to a movie theater until this virus is put down? A closed environment. No natural air circulation. No way to tell who has removed his or her mask in the darkness. Expensive food of dubious provenance.

Here’s my current list of most watchables:

  • Children of Men (the photo with this column. a cult movie?)
  • Hillbilly Elegy (Tuesday on Netflix)
  • Election (Broderick and Witherspoon)
  • The Garden Left Behind
  • Polar (pretty violent but a thriller)
  • The Climb
  • Duel Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom  (David, Boseman, coming Dec. 18 on Netflix)

Enjoy! Coming tomorrow on The Bob Jones Report: John Waihee & the Bishop Estate perversion.
